Apologetics and Evangelism
Jesus, Peter, Paul and Appolos all serve as roll models in their defense of the faith. Peter commands us to, "…always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you…" The study of apologetics tells us how to do just that. We'll explore a variety of approaches including historical, rational and scientific and we'll do it in a way that makes sense (to you and your unsaved neighbor). Your study of apologetics will help you guard against false teachings. Apologetics is often called the handmaiden of evangelism since it prepares the mind so the heart can receive. We'll explore various ways to effectively share your faith.
